Reservoir Breathers

Tank top filler breather air filters for hydraulic reservoirs with minimised pressure drop from standard 10μ (MIC) and 3μ (SM-L) filters

  • Air flow values listed below are based on 0.01 bar pressure drop
  • PI 014, 015 & 018 series have an optional oil vapour (MOL) filter available upon request as well as visual & electrical contamination indicators

NIVOVENT M SERIES

Level and temperature reservoir probe with G3/4 connection incorporating a filler breather

  • Level switches may be set as falling closing (FC) or falling opening (FO).
  • Temperature switches available in 50, 55, 60, 70, 80 or 90șC normally open (NO) or normally closed (NC). Switches have 20șC hysteresis

Standard probe length of 370mm. Standard breather is 10μ

Level and temperature reservoir probe with 3 hole (DIN) flange connection incorporating filler breather

  • Level & temperature switches as per Nivovent M but hysteresis on 21-2 is 10șC. 21-3 hysteresis and switching temperature is factory set
  • Standard probe length of 370mm. Standard breather is 10μ

T SERIES

  • Temperature probe with G1/2 connection
  • Temperature switches available in 50, 55, 60, 70, 80 or 90șC normally open (NO) or normally closed (NC). Switches have 20șC hysteresis (TSA-10șC)
  • Standard probe length of 370mm (excluding TSA)

ELECTRIC HEATERS ON LINE
For mounting in line on return side or in separate circuit. (See rec. flow rates) HRE Heating Elements type are fitted into rugged carbon steel shell with threaded inlet and outlet. Min flow rate: 35 l/min. Max flow rate: 300 l/min. Min flow rate: 35 l/min. Max flow rate: 300 l/min.
ELECTRIC IMMERSION HEATERS
For tank mounting (See rec. flow rates) Heating elements HRE type are fitted into rugged carbon steel shell with a threaded inlet fluid port and a return into the tank.
HEATING ELEMENT
To be inserted directly into the tank in a turbulent area, to raise the thermal efficiency. Body and mounting thread (2"BSPP) made of brass alloy. Cover in rubber; can be oriented to suitable position. Resistance in carbon steel with U bends. HRE are also used in HRX and HRT

Low Pressure Pumps

  • Super quiet gerotor low pressure hydraulic pump with integrated motor
  • Ideally suited to offline cooling or filtration systems as well as oil transfer systems
  • Compact design with a maximum pressure of 10 bar
  • Electric motors 3 phase 380-420V/50Hz, 440-500V/60Hz IP 55 (Other voltages, 1-phase on request)
  • Fluid port : suction G11⁄2 / pressure G1

Flexible Separators

The flexible separator prevents the ingress of contaminants into hydraulic systems through the reservoir. The air that is normally drawn into and expelled from the reservoir during a cycle is totally contained within the expansion chamber of the flexible separator.

  • The separator expands and contracts to maintain near atmospheric pressure in the tank
  • Separators should be selected with a volume 25% larger than the maximum displaced volume in the reservoir during a cycle. This prevents damage to the separator during normal operation
